In the 25th year after establishing the Thai Hip and Knee Society (THKS), the society holds the combined meeting with the Asia Pacific Organization of Knee Arthroplasty (APOKA), which will be on 2-4 December 2023, at the Sheraton Hotel in Hua-hin, Thailand.

The theme of this year’s meeting, “25th Anniversary of THKS” reflects on the society’s achievements and milestones over the past 25 years. THKS has led the way in developing hip and knee arthroplasty in Thailand and internationally since 1998. The society has also contributed substantially to improving the treatments for better patient outcomes by encouraging education, research, and collaboration among orthopedic surgeons.

The annual meeting of THKS, including the combined meeting with APOKA this year, is also one of the paths to continue with the THKS missions: to build a relationship with international orthopedic professionals and reciprocate academic knowledge in both technical and technological terms.

These three days meetings will feature a range of keynote lectures, symposiums, case consultations, and hands-on workshops relating to the hip and knee field. Leading experts, researchers, and practitioners from Thailand and the Asia Pacific will attend the meeting to deliver their expertise, experience, and perspectives on the most recent advancements in hip and knee arthroplasty, while the participants will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and network with colleagues and peers.
